Stunning! With all the man-made drama and general crap we allow ourselves to be polluted by daily, it's way refreshing to see something so naturally gorgeous. And to think all this came to pass, evolving from absolutely nothing without any design! ;)

Well, count me as mistaken then. It's just that the moon seems excedingly large to me even accounting for magnification due to atmospheric conditions. That being said I certainly mean no disrespect to the photographer. It is stricking imagery.

I agree. Windy Wellington, as its known, when it does have clear still evenings, for some reason the moon over Mnt Victoria looks like you can touch it (when seen from the other side of town).
Totally weird.
And seen through a long lense, while a little out of proportion, still makes stunning imagery.
Cheers

Is this a superposition of two exposures (terrestrial and lunar)? I ask because the motion of the people seems to be in real time, while the lunar motion appears to be speeded up (time lapsed). Please explain. Perhaps this is the natural result of the different magnifications of the terrestrial vs lunar scenes (because of the different distances from camera to each of the two object locations). On third thought, I think this effect would give just the opposite result! Please comment.

On fourth thought (after consultation with Physics types), the human motion is obviously real time, and so is the moon motion ==> it travels its own diameter in about 125 seconds - as it does to the naked eye. The video is real time genuine!
