adobe update for d7100

downloaded the camera raw update and installed .tried to open and it say that it can't open raw files. Has anybody else have this problem or am i doing anything wrong.

did that .also check if it got installed properly and it shows o.k.

Is this an adobe update? If it is....you mite look into the main set-up page and check the enable box to actually turn it on.

I have the same problem. I installed cameraraw7.4. no help.

Get ViewNX - its free and does open the NEF

Are you using LR if so update LR to 4.4 It reads D7100 images. Using it now works excellent

I,m using cs6. Nice shot .That looks like an Alewives . The reason I say that is it appears that it's going upstream,towards fresh water to spawn.They are used as lobster bait in New England and Maritime provinces.Also use for human consumption smoked,especially in Maine and along the French shores in Nova Scotia. Our version of the more popular kippers from Great Britain.

You are right it is an alewife, herring run has started here in Massachusetts. BTW ACR update works in my CS 6

Use to fish Long Island sound for Bluefish and we used alewives for bait when bottom fishing for them along the race.Fish out of Niantic and Old Saybrook from a marina at the head of Conn.River. Great places and good fishing.
