Has anyone had any positive or negative dealings with
1. CONSUMER CELLULAR
2. JITTERBUG
or
3. any other cell phone company which supposedly provides good cell phone service inexpensively to seniors?
I have dealt with Consumer Cellular for years, they are wonderful. You can do everything online if you like, if not their phone help is the greatest. They are very patient and kind. Their plans are very senior friendly. Good Luck
My 88 year old dad and I share a Jitterbug account. We've had nothing but good service from them. Their operators are all in San Diego and speak English, a plus!
We have Consumer Cellular, they are outstanding for customer service, which most of we seniors need from time to time. Would not consider switching.
Check out prepaid plans from Verizon, or other companies. If the phone won't be used a lot, you can control the costs and keep them low.
I use virgin mobile 15 bucks every 90 days.
The 60 dollars a year is less than what most people pay per month.
It is a pre-pay but since I don't use it much I have about 40 hours of time built up I just carry it for emergency.
CONSUMER CELLULAR. My mother-in-law is very pleased with the service.
I use Tracfone the cost is by how many min. you buy like 20.00 for one hr. for 90 days. If the time isn't used it roles over when you buy more time. At the presant time I am holding 1602.30mins.

We have verizon that my son gives every christmas. All calls after 9pm and sat & sun are free. So thats when my wife calls her sister in Georga and our friends. Heck most our friends are dead. My next phone will be two tin cans and a long string to our neibors house.
Have been using Consumer Cellular for about 6 months now and have no complaints. Have a 700min plan for $29.00 for the first line and $10.00 for the second line. No internet, texting or any of that garbage, just talk.
