I love living where I do, it's in a valley and the storms seems to bypass me to the south. When they do so we get some incredible thunderheads as the moving air stalls against the mountains around Mt. Rainier.
I've been taking pictures of clouds when these neat storms go by and these are some of the latest.
Comments and critiques always welcome.
Looking south across the hill in the pasture (where the new calves live) ...
Another slightly different view of the cow pasture and clouds.
This one actually brought some rain to the east of my place ... but it was so cool!
Looking south down a road working on my perspective pics
Pretty much the same but with a bicyclist coming toward me and no car ...
The color of the sky on picture number 2 is outstanding. I could see that in a 20X24 framed on someones wall.
Nice.
Great shots - love cloud pictures
tbohon: All great shots. I like the road ones the best. Wonder why the poles all seem so close when they are likely 150 feet apart. Must be something to do with perspective. Weird how that happens.
