Read through this whole item before clicking on the red link... You will be impressed. Every day, we see planes in the sky, sometimes very high..with or without contrails. And some may wonder: what type of plane, airbus A320, 330, 350? Boeing.....or other. Where does it come from, where is it going, what altitude, what speed, what company etc. You will see all this information instantly on your screen. On the map you will see all the planes in the air. To view your region or town, you can zoom in by tapping with your mouse. Click on a airplane, and on the left screen you will get all the info, airline, type, speed, altitude in real time, re calculated every 10 seconds. On some you can also click on "view from the cockpit"

That's cool. When my son flew here from Denver I watched the plane on the internet.

I used to be an air traffic control radar operator. Now I can relive my glory days ... without being in a dark room.

....Over.

I zoomed in and clicked on a plane. There is a button for "cockpit view" and flew over our house and landed at the airport.
This is so cool!

Just watched my son's plane come into London Heathrow From Toronto.
Followed it through from start of the holding pattern though to the landing using cockpit view. The program stopped at 200 feet ALT then said looking for new coordinates, by which time I had missed the actual touchdown. Excellent program, thanks for sharing.

Great site. When you go to 'view from cockpit' it says
you must restart the browser. How is that done ?

On mine it said reload the page which I did, when refreshed page came up, on the left hand side I clicked "Active Planes"
Then selected "Flight Number" from the list
clicked "See Map" on RH side then clicked "Cockpit View"

If you don't want to be timed out you'll have to buy the Premium Package.

Does anyone think that it looks like there are too many planes over us all at one time?
