Took these shots through the car window not as sharp as I wanted them to be. Could not role the window down the Buzzards would fly away.

Vultures are great subjects aren't they! I have been trying to get some up close too, but like you said...they don't sit still for you! Thanks for sharing1

I don't care for buzzards, but I'm a sucker for spread wings like these, very good.

It used to be that I didn't like them, either, but I have become quite fond of them lately.

It's funny how people don't like buzzards. I have watched Buzzards quite frequently. These birds are very strong and are well equipped to protect themselves.
I watched one attack a dog for meddling with a find of food. The buzzard drove the dog away in a flash using the wings as beaters. The dog did not have a chance so he left fast with his tail tucked.
