The first picture was just the sunsetting but it sure did look like the sky was on fire. The second photo was geranium. The third was a little fella that keeps popping up at work. He scares the daylights out of me. He stand over 2 ft tall. He looks like a big rat to me.

Hey, I really like the sunset - gorgeous. I also like the softness of the flowers in #2. That last one looks like a Nutria, a big ol' member of the rat family - the one they call a "river rat." I can do without them but do appreciate your photo of it. Was it begging for food?

I think that is a Wood Chuck commonly called a groundhog in WV. Good eating when prepared correctly.

I think that's what my boss called it too, a ground hog, I'm not sure I'd eat one. But it does keep me on my toes when I go to my car!

Here in Pennsylvania groundhogs are celebrities. We have Punksatanny Phil and Gus, "the second most famous groundhog in Pennsylvania", a TV personality whose main job is to sell us state lottery tickets. :-)

Mr. Woodchuck is actually my favorite picture of the three. I like them well enough just not in my hay fields or under the foundation of the barns.

Nutria are a member of the beaver family, they have long round tails which I didn't see on your little fella, so probably a wood chuck. He's my second pick, sunset wins.

Yep. I finally figured that out. I was looking on google for images of them and was starin' at their backsides. Glad nobody saw me doin' that.

Well this animal does have a long round tail...it seems to be hiding in this picture though. Just reminds me of a big rat...ugh!
