I'm new to this site and hope to pick the brains of some of you from time to time. I have been taking pictures for almost 40 years now but have never really taken the time to learn the art of photography. It has always been too easy to just set the camera on auto and go, but not anymore, I have a Canon T3i and I want to use it for everything it is worth. I have taken some pretty amazing shots over the years but I no longer want it to be by accident. I look forward to talking to a lot of you and sharing pictures from time to time.

Welcome to UHH! You'll have fun here. There is much learning and support. Everyone is great with sharing information and knowledge. REally like your pictures, especially the first one! Would love to be there with a fishing pole in hand.
Thank you, I know it will be a lot of fun, and very informative. Thanks for the compliment, these pale in comparison to some of the awesome photos on here but that is one of the reasons I am on here, to be able to take those great shots consistently. Montana does have some beautiful scenery and some of the best fishing in the country. Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?
Never mind, I just saw that you are in Texas. I use to live in Austin and my sister has lived in Waco for 30 years

Welcome from right outside Austin. Been most of the last 57 years. Enjoy the info available on the site. I know that I am learning a lot here.

Hi Badboy.....welcome to the hog. You have a really good camera, and i can see you are using it well. The first shot of Bowman Lake is excellent, but, try to keep the shore line level.
