There is not such a thing as a perfect camera bag but I after having tried three different types, I decided to take the plunge and bought a Kiboko. Please read all about it. You'll be very happy with it!

I have been looking for a bag to meet two requirements: 1) I wanted a 'sling-type' bag to facilitate changing a lens without having to set the bag on the ground to open, and 2) I wanted to be able to carry my Canon 5D Mark III or 7D with a Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS USM attached. The only bag I could find to meet both requirements is the Kata KT PL-3N1-35 Pro Light Backpack. I received it yesterday and I think I'm going to be very pleased with it.

my opinion......also carries a 17" laptop (and won't break the bank)

Or---You could buy a "bridge camera" and chuck all those lenses, and heavy bodies.

I use gura gear most of the time for on the plane, when I am shooting I have a vest (big pockets, I think that's the name of it). My 70 to 200 fits in a brocket, I keep a 24 to 70 on a camera and the 16 to 35 in the other pocket along with a fish eye. Batteries and filters fit in chest pockets and the large pocket in the back is for gloves, hat knee pads.

Easy to carry lenses always right there

Looking for some opinions on camera bags. I have a Nikon d7000 with an 18-200 lens & an 80-400 lens & might be adding a battery grip & need a new bag since the 2 I have will not hold the big lens. I would like to have the option of leaving the 400 attached plus would like an area to carry small items, wallet, phone, nessesarities. I have been looking at Lowepro's but looking at pics doesn't always work. Your opinions on straps was very helpful & I don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks everyone.

Try the tamrac Evolution 8 or 9...I have the 8 and it works very well if you don't have abig load. It can handle a camera with batttery pack and Nikon 70-200 lens attached with room for twoo extra lens and flash. Use the 9 if you have a large lap top

I don't know where you are from butr K & R Cameras in Covington, KY. are very good also Jacks Camera Shop in Muncie Indiana. Excellent people and are very knowledgeable. Wilma at K&R and Any one at Jack's. Have dropped many many dollars thru the years at both places. Hope you find what you need.
