P-10 Thanks RR, It is not as cold as you are however we are getting a cold front coming through today and tomorrow. Getting down into the low 40's at night and low 70's during the day.
Was in the low 70's this past weekend here, 33 Saturday and 38 Sunday

pg 7 - Fountain of Youth? Is this some sort of reconstruction of times past? Good shots....
So, I finally get to log back in and find 12!!! pages, so I'll post and then go back and look. Past weekend was Maine Maple Sunday in which sugar houses open their doors for fun and to demonstrate the art of sugaring. My daughter's in laws run Hilltop Boilers (on facebook and on line if you're interested in seeing more pix or products). They had record crowds this year. Our job is to keep the boys (the oldest does help gather sap) until the last few hours when crowds thin. In the sugar house window lightÂ…grading the syrup
Syrup comes in various colors. Light = from the first gathers and often considered the best. Darl amber = towards the end of the season full bodied, rich flavor. Yumm. Looks pretty too.
So proud - he got his very first personal sap gathering bucket this year.
Window light: begged me to put gel in and make his hair do a "mohawk". I stopped counting the number of times he looked in the mirror to admire his new look and make sure it was still standing up "I'm just like the teen agers!"

P4 Love them, RR. Not too many around here wearing those wool checked jackets any more. They sure were warm - and heavy.
