Thank you, sometimes they just bloom when they get ready, I was shocked to see the blooms this morning. Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Great subject! Do you have a macro lens? You could get a lot more detail with a macro lens. Also you may want to put a diffuser on your flash #1 & #3 are blown out from the flash, a diffuser would help prevent that.

If you think they look good, imagine the results with the right equipment. You are a few car notes from greatness.

You can still put a diffuser on your flash, which will help a lot more then you think.
You don't have to buy a special-made diffuser for your camera. Go to your local fabric store, buy a 4-6" piece of solid (not sheer) white satin (usually wedding-dress material) It'll cost you about a dollar. Then cut a square, enough to cover your flash and some overhang so that you can secure it over your flash with a rubber-band, making sure not to cover your lens! Then shoot away and see what happens.

FYI, This kind of fabric will frey, badly, so I use a liquid called 'frey-check' to 'glue' the edges so they don't unravel... or if you have sewing skills, you can do that too!

Here's an example of fill-flash with diffuser, before and after...

And I'm adding that none of the photos are post-processed.

fill-flash with diffuser, even the grass in the background is greener, if this was not diffused the leaves would look like your flowers #1 & #3, way too bright with less detail

fill-flash with diffuser, Sharper, more detail and the dew sparkles... if this was a flash w/o diffuser you would only see 4 white spots and some leaves.
