Honestly, everyone on uglyhedgehog is full of themselves & has been ignorant towards me when it comes to me posting questions or posting an example of my work. Not sure if anyone thinks their better just because they are skilled with Photoshop or have a 10,000$ camera does not mean you aren't able to help an amateur. I've only been on Uglyhedgehog for some months & seriously, this is how people treat other people when it comes to trying to network & share information - judge each others work in an ignorant way. I'm only 16, so I'm sure there are people way older than I am on here & talking to me like I'm new to this world is completely ignorant. I'm a nice person & if I see another ignorant message from someone on my forums then I will gladly be ignorant back towards. Keep your ignorant comments to yourself if you have nothing positive to say.

mimisotaa - first of all I don't understand why you feel the way you do BUT just keep in mind you are supposed to be 18 years of age to join this forum!!
I don't think anyone is trying to say you are not good enough, or that you don't have a camera that is good enough!! When people reply back they are only offering you info that might possibly help you to create a more appealing photo. Things you should look out for when shooting, rule of thirds, and such.
Criticism is your friend in some cases, so take it with a grain of salt, and heed their advice.

I just went through all of your posts. I hate to tell you but if you think you have seen ignorant you are in trouble because you aint seen nothen yet.
Cool your jets. You are right. Most of the folks are older and more experienced. Just saying positive things like oh wow your photos are great...isnt going to help you learn. Listen to what they are saying...I think you got some very good advice on your posts. Keep trying and just ignore what you think is "Ignorant". Dont meet ignorance with ignorance. Ignore it if you can and most of us will too.

Thanks - but I have moved on. I alreaduy forgot what I was so upset about, have had several more earth shattering dramatic episodes in my life soon since and there is sure to be a new life changing event just around the corner. Through it all I will survive until I don't no more, at which time, the world for the rest will continue much as before - with one less soul to carry on, to carry on....... Thinking this could be a song.

Ignorant is NOT a bad word. It means you don't know. This forum is FOR people who want to learn from others,(so we won't be ignorant of certain facts) so criticizm is a really good thing here.

You may claim being OLD, but I doubt it. I know for a fact you're not too old to learn something new, because even though you've said that "no one knows EVERYTHING", well, I have good news for you. I'm happy to introduce myself to you as a person who DOES know everything. But I don't boast about it very much. I'm a humble person, and very proud of it.
