Alaska is a gorgeous place, Wonderful images!
Absolutely beautiful! I would love to visit Juneau. Hopefully next trip.
What part of AK do you live?
Wht a beautiful part of our country you live in! Excellent.
Nice pictures. You captured Juneau at its normal cloudy weather. You're lucky to have it that good. I've actually been lucky enough to see it in the sun, but that doesn't happen often.

Now that I've retired I split my time between Alaska and Nevada. When in Alaska I'm either at our property in Homer, at my son's lodge in Cordova, or at a friend's lodge in western AK.
How nice! Where do you stay in NV?

Got stranded on the Homer Spit one time, had to spend the night at the Hotel out there. Huge rocks all over the road way. A couple of cars had windows broken by flying debris.
Is the Salty Dawg still there?

Verdi....adjacent to Reno. Used to have a place in Truckee, CA which is just up the road from where I am now. Not nearly the snow to contend with off the mountain.
Enjoy living your dream!

Salty Dog is still there. I've seen rocks on the road out the "spit". They were washed onto the road by a storm surge. Life's interesting there.

Ah. What is the diff. between Verdi and Alaska in the winter other than more daylight?

Warmer, snow melts in a short time, warmth in the sun, sun's not so much in your eyes, can drive in a days time to much warmer weather.
