My shutter count

Morning to all. Does anyone know how to obtain shutter count for D7000 camera? I've tried myshuttercount.com but can't get the picture to upload. Do I download their program indicated first then do upload

Very easy to do with Irfanview, a free program. Load the pic and check the metadata. Usually near the bottom.

When starting out with a brand new camera, it is always a good idea to scribe a mark on the bottom of the camera with a rusty pocket knife for each photo taken. That way, you will have instant access to the shutter count.

take the smallest picture you can with your camera and upload it to the website you mentioned and it should work. I had the same issue with my D7000.

What a great idea !!! I've got the camera ok but not a rusty knife can any send me one please. Lol

There is a free download on the net called PIE (picture information extractor). I think it will work for any pic that has meta data attached to it. As well as shutter count, it gives info on date shot, whether the flash fired or not, aperture/shutter speed, focal length of lens, and loads of other info.
