My name is Sheila. I am 43 and finally found the love of my life and been married for 2 years. Together we have 5 children. My daughter is 24, married to a wonderful man and they have the most gorgeous daughter (age 19 mths) with another due in April. My step-sons are 18 and 17 and step-daughter 16 and my son is 16. 3 of the teens live with us and keep us very busy. I am an Echocardiogram Sonographer (ultrasound of the heart). I have been in the medical field for 25 years (nursing, then ultrasound). I just got my Canon Rebel T3 about 2 months ago and LOVE it. I have been taking snapshots since I was 10. (My first camera was a C110 that I won) When my granddaughter was born, we had professional photos taken of her and I felt like the guy did a very poor job so I decided to learn photography. I am starting out very slow but thanks to all of you UHH members, I am starting to get a few basics. Ok...I could go on so here is a picture of my with my favorite Aunt taken May 2011...Not the most flattering but this is me..

My name is Kim and I am from Kenosha, WI. I have 3 children twins 30 b/g and a 20 yr old son. I also have 5 grandchildren and another due in July. I have been married for 1 1/2 years.
I picked my first camera up 20 years ago and have been actively shooting for over 5 years.
I work in a factory and will graduate from college early next year.
This is the best pic I have without having to pound through the external hard drive. It is nice to see everyone. Thank you for sharing.

Oh you betcha, I'm still reading, and loving what I see! I'd have NEVER dreamed my thread would create such interesting reading and interaction among so many people.

I would have loved to say hi and thank you to each and every one of you, but gosh, 20 pages in, That will be quite a daunting task. I hope you all understand. On that note...Thank you, all for participating and sharing a little bit about yourself. Startin' to feel like a little photo phamily around here. Even Daddy Admin showin' up to the dinner table. Can't complain about that snobbery and the world being cranky in THIS thread! Blessings to y'all! ~Susie

Hi susie, I'm 58, married, father and grandpa. By trade an Operating Engineer(heavy equip. oper.) I like boating on the "big pond" and shooting the skyline, the Air & Water show and just about anything else. This past summer i got into DSLRs after years with point & shoots and film before. I'm hooked on digital. It's a pleasure to meet everyone here. I enclosed a picture and I'm wondering if anyone recognises the building in the background?

At the outset I was the apple of my mother's eye, but as time progressed, or so I've been told, my poor dear mother began having second thoughts... until now, many decades later, all the second thoughts in the world don't help. Which probably explains the occasional bouts of weeping that beset her.
