Yes clearly marked on the barrel of the lens (USM). The bottom dollar I will take is $300 and Postage (probably around $15.

Sorry..no idea of the shutter count. I used the camera as a primary for about 2 years..I would say light to moderate use..then upgraded and it became a backup camera..very light use. I have all of the cables, box etc. for the camera.. and the remote is compatible with the 40D. The CDs I am not sure of..but if you need the EOS utility that is on the CD, I can provide that.

Yes. This is the best looking 40D body that I have seen in a long time. Remember that it has been sitting in a camera bag for most of its life. The camera functions perfectly. If I did not have a 5D for a backup camera..I would keep this one.
I just replaced the batteries as well. These two batteries are less than 3 months old. I try to replace batteries on a regular basis and never store a battery in the camera.
