OMG.. One of the first quality cameras I ever used was an OLD Speedgraphic and that was over 40 years ago. I used it mainly for portrait shoots. Loved going into the dark room developing the negatives then using them to produce a picture. Nothing greater than watching an image come to life on a blank sheet of white paper. Wish I still had it...Fond memories of that old camera.
When I was at Brook's in 1965 we had to use 4x5 view cameras. Graflex was not allowed. I just got rid of my film hangers, I don't know why I kept them. After you have exposed the dark slide more than once, you will get the hang of it. Then there's the surge with improper developing. Your first and most important accessory will be a good vacuum cleaner for the film holders. Do I miss large format? Not as long as I have my Nikons.
looks great, but I think they are out production and very rare
I too use a 4x5 Zone VI field camera. For b&w film I order from Freestyle Photo in Los Angeles. They carry Kodak, Ilford, Emke and several others as well as Fuji and Kodak color film. Also carry some accessories for 4X5 as does Calumet Photo in Chicago.
I have a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 I never use anymore. I have no idea what to ask for it. ~Ed

They are indeed out of production, but they come up at photo fairs reasonably often. Or at least, they did. Maybe they've all been bought up by LF users...
