I think this would be the first most reason to move to Alaska! I, too, would like to see more. Great shooting!

Really great shots, thanks for posting. I am also too far south to see this phenomenon so we have to depend on the generosity of those of you in the higher latitudes. Please post more.

OH, WOW! I am just amazed and in awe. Would love to see these. Would the Aurora seen in Alaska be any different than seen, say, in Iceland or Norway?

Same ionized gas phenomenon around magnetic North Pole, just seen from different PoV.

I believe it's pretty much the same regardless of the area. It might be different with the South Pole version, but I don't know.

Aurora is the same at both poles

Great shots Tom, I shot some from Fort Wainwright, too bad I had Black and white film at in 1974, OOPSIE
