Hi
I'm new here just arrived. I'm way down the learning curve of photography so I have a great deal to learn. I tend to home in on birds as I spend half the year in a great location.
I'm seeking critique in order to improve.
Please feel free to hack away and thanks for looking.

That is a very ominous looking bird. Remind me not to annoy any black bears in your neighborhood.. :)
Cute candid capture. Good selection of shutter speed.
Love the shot. Think it could be lightened up a bit around the bears face to show the detail around the eyes a bit. But what a capture! Most of us would give our eye teeth for a chance at a shot like that. And if that is what your birds are like, watch out for the bearss :)
GREAT shot. Kinda makes me want to scrub his back for him. What camera & lens? what distance (feet) were you from bear/bird?
I just had to chuckle with this series of shots I'm not skilled enough to plan outings with objectives I just take what I see luck plays a great part.
Canon 1D3 Canon 800mm which produced an image that needed a crop.
I lack skills in dealing with the image in photoshop I just tend to be too heavy handed either I can't see the result of the adjustment or I over do it and ruin the image this could also be my monitor is too bright. Any advice most welcome.
Hi
A easy solution in Photoshop is to work on a duplicate image of your original. The duplicate command is on the toolbar across the top.
The only thing that I see wrong is that the bear is not using any soap. It is a fun picture. I don't know if any hardcore critiquing is necessary.

I like the personality and action in this shot. Also your caption is perfect, it sets the mood. Nice work.
Thank you for the comments.
I struggle with the off centre aspect too I like to see what I'm looking at if you know what I mean with as much detail as possible.
GRACIOUS!
What an AWESOME moment to capture!
LOL ADORABLE!
I agree that it needs some tweaking though.. but no more than hasn't been said already. :)
Cool shot. Almost looks like he’s playing “leg guitar”
