It's the Birth Certificate thing warmed over. Even after everyone saw it, it wasn't good enough, it was tampered with..blah blah blah. My guess is if he released the college transcripts someone would come up with yet another thing for him to prove or say were fake. It will never end. If I were him I wouldn't play the game either. I can't believe some of the stuff I read here. Half of the Obama haters spew venom and lies w/o fact checking. If it was in a tabloid or email, it must be true? If they have nothing else they bring up his father that left him when he was very young and got DUI's, had many women etc. How does that matter? He was gone from his life! Obama must really be good to keep all these accusations from being proven over the years. No one else in history has ever been that good. Not even the Kennedys!!

I'm confused. What the hell is a "collage" transcript? Did Obama make make lots of collages in college and get a separate transcript showing the grades he got for making them? Or did he take his college transcript, rip it into pieces, and use it to make a collage? If somebody can explain what a collage transcript is then perhaps we can have an intelligent conversation about it.

Most people do not need it explained and realized it was a simple mistake. Now you know also and your confusion should clear. :D

I presume that your wife was furloughed and my son was not because we live in different states. The stimulus money was given to the states and they used it where they thought it would do the most good.
Concerning spending, be careful what you wish for. If the deep cuts that the tea party wants actually happened, there would be a lot of screaming on the part of the older folks. It would look like Greece with the riots and not only from the welfare recipients.
The "tax increases" in January affected less tan two percent of the population. Big deal ! We fought two wars and the folks at home got a tax cut. Shameful.
I'm also grateful that I'm already on Medicare as Paul Ryan wants to turn it into a voucher plan to save money. Typical conservative Republican. Cut spending on the elderly and give more tax cuts to the wealthy and big corporations. He is a disgusting individual.

Thanks for the apology. Your a good person. Since I started this thread I have been called all kinds of things. I am a bad speller and if you spell it wrong but it is another word it doesn't tell you. Sometimes I don't even get close and have to ask my wife of son.
It's good to keep things civil, you get your point across better.

Stupid article on several levels. Look at "hose in the middle of the income spectrum -- earning between $43,000 and $68,000 -- would wind up with a tax cut of about $900 on average, while those earning below $22,000 would have savings of only $40. " Well DUH !!! that is the way it currently is, The people who make more will always have a higher "Tax break" dollar amount simply because they make more...Equate it out to a percentage of income & see what you get...This is a prime example of cherry picking statistics...

As for the Federal debt, The debt rose $4.899 trillion during the two terms of the Bush presidency. It has now gone up $4.939 trillion since President Obama took office. That is twice the rate of increase that Bush had.As for "Obama has offered to put programs on the table in exchange for tax increases on those who can afford it, but the Republicans prefer to protect their rich friends and won't even consider getting rid of tax loopholes and corporate welfare. ".. You seem to forget that Obama got a tax increase on the "rich" at the end of last year, without any spending cuts. Now he wants more cuts?....Yeah, the proposals he's put on the table simply slow the rate of future spending. They don't actually cut current spending.Playing with numbers is all it is...Look at "Obamacare"...Looks as though the CBO has revised their estimates of it's cost upward. Then the other day, the "sample" application to apply for it is revealed & the forms are a monstrosity, as daunting as even tax forms...Gimme a break!

I would hate to see this country become a "banana republic" where a few ultra wealthy rule over the masses in poverty and the middle class becomes virtually extinct. Tax policies being pushed by Ryan and his minions are pushing us in that direction. I guess you are OK with it.

Well said. I'm afraid we are losing the battle, though. Even the President will eventually cave on some republican demands.
