Again, great shots from everyone! Love seeing all these birds that don't frequent my area.

Birdie, I don't think I've ever seen house finches before, lovely little birds!

Here are some great egrets...

I'd hate to choose one favorite bird, but the American Goldfinch would be right up there . Cedar Waxwing, Indigo Bunting, Tufted Titmouse and Chickadee, would be way up close too. Never mind, I love them all. This one is stunning!!!

Indigo Bunting taken on my deck. Olympus e410 with Olympus 40-150mm lens. Notice the expensive feeder.

I know every bird in the neighborhood (that's about 38 acres and a meadow etc.) I try to take care of them all and I love photographing them. The chickadee profile pic is great. I am not crazy, but I do name some of the birds and try to learn their songs. My husband thought I was going a little off the deep end until he found a unique red cardinal and recognized it each day and then named him! Now he believes.
Anyone in NC to share wildlife with? We are just north of Charlotte.

I love the call of the mourning dove.

WOW! Now that's picture perfect! I used to raise doves. This would make a wonderful Christmas card.

Belwj, I would really like to know what that beautiful little yellow, black & white bird is? Anyone know?

Not sure what this is but it tried to get in through my window for about 2 days.

As Birdie said, it was probably fighting itself. When I was a kid, we had one window that birds continuously flew into. We eventually put a fake snake on the window sill because we were afraid they would knock themselves out. It worked really well!

I don't think I have ever seen such an awesome shot. I love the two egrets snuggled together. I love it?

I believe Birdie is right and that it is a Magnolia Warbler.
