not bad but white spots in the eyes a real cutey !!!
what would you suggest I do to prevent that in the future?
nice photos of a cute subject
White spots in the eyes are from the lights used. Go look at the cover shots of mags. in the grocery store, you will find lots of them with "spots on the eyes". These are called catch lights, and without them the faces look dead.
Love the pose and pretty smile on the second photo. Beautiful little girl.
the "catchlights" in the eyes are what make the eyes come alive and give them sparkle and life, please don't try to get them out..lovely daughter and nice pics also
Thank you!! I was actually thinking the lights made her eyes stand out more. :D
What a beautiful child. Also the picture.
Hi emmasmom:
The images are adorable but what I find is that the overall images are on the warm side having a yellowish tint.
Going forward to correct this, what was your camera set at for temperature and/or color balance????? You can PM me for ideas on lighting and a few tricks in post processing!
I've attached your original and one that has some color correction..just to see the difference...
Wheezie:)

with a fast color correction
She's a cutie, nice work, but I agree with Wheezie, the color is too warm. Those catch lights should stay.
I noticed that as well but wasn't sure how or if I could fix that, I have a new Nikon D5100 camera and I used the portrait mode obviously I am not a professional and just learning so any info you can give me would be great. Thanks
She's adorable! Worth training as a model.
