Cedar Waxwings and a Splashdown

Always thrilled when my 55-250 mm lens lets me do a bit more than I have any right to expect (close crops of small subjects). #1 - I tried brightening but ended up liking muted better. #3 - if anyone would be willing to give the sky a bit of color, I'd be most appreciative. #4 - who knew Canada geese displaced so much water on landing :)

Gorgeous pictures, so crisp to me. Waxwing is a pretty bird. Good background. I do like them.

Love these birds. I guess they get their name from the waxy look of their feathers?

Wow! I love waxwings but we don't have them here. The 2nd shot is awesome, but it felt like he was squinting the soul outta me!
