B/W or Color? Question??

I think I like the b/w better. I converted it in LR4 and used a green filter.
When converting a b/w like this in a snow scene is there a particular filter to use? which filter works best for skin tones.

I Prefer the B & W Emma, although the skin tones are a little blown out?

Emm, though I'm a fan of b&w, the color in #2 captures those brown eyes, the essence of most facial portraits. I like what you did - and experiment to death, enjoy.

I like both of them Emm, the sparkle in the eyes in #1, does it for me

I like the b/w but think the lips and nose could have been darker to match the eyes. Would have been a bit more impact.
