The other day, someone asked about new features in future DSLRs? How about 3-D? Panasonic has a CMOS sensor tht can capture 3-D, and Samsung has developed a lens that can do the same.

My Sony P&S can do 3-D, but the images have to be seen on a 3-D TV. I don't know what the deal is with the Samsung and Panasonic equipment. I know there are 3-D TVs that do not require special glasses.

The cameras you refer to do not do actual 3D, Panasonic etc, it needs to be "moved" or "computed".

I have been doing proper 3D for ages, doing a shoot now for Age UK with 3D, works great with VID on 3D tv or buy 50p glassers.

Amazing. I'll have to view that with my 3-D glasses.

Looks interesting. What do you use to create your 3d images?

Panasonic has several 3d cameras. The public isn't buying.
