I'm just a few miles from the home of the famous "Cowtown Rodeo", and I wouldn't be surprised of this bad boy is one of the stars there. There's nothing to give this guy some scale, but he's HUGE. And I've seen my fair share of bovines in my life.
I love the curiosity and friendliness of cows. They seem to love to have people stop and chat and take a picture or two.
Here is my photo
My dad would say that if the cows were laying down
it was a sign that it would rain soon.

My grandad was a dairy farmer. They are the hardest workers I know. He used to tell us "little kids" that the brown cows were the ones that gave Chocolate Milk....LOL
New Jersey route 519 drive by ...shot from the back of the motorcycle.
Italian cow...also shot from the back of the motorcycle but from a dead stop.
would you mind getting out of the road
When I was 10 or so, my best friend lived with her grandparents on a small farm that had maybe 25 milk cows and 6-8 heifers. We decided that riding the heifers would be fun. We had the heifers so upset they trampled the fence protecting the vegetable garden but then decided they had discovered the garden of Eden. Oh, was her grandmother furious...justifiably so!
we also had a sheep road block on that italy tour....but that is not a cow...I hope you dont mind....see if you can find the dogs.
One of the fun things about this site is to notice how often others have a similar eye..... Did not realise I have dozens of cow pictures (and one cow patty) in my archives!

Now you have done it. Asking for cows is worse than asking to see my home movies...
Cattle and oxen were a huge part of our life while my middle daughter was growing up. Because of her I have a love of cattle particularly oxen.
Half of her first team demoing how to be a pack ox
Doing demonstrations at Greenfield Village
Loading hay into the barn with 2yr old Paul and Silas
John and David
First time in yoke
At the fair with her beef heifer
Wonderful pictures of your daughter and "the kids". I loved going to Greenfield Village when I lived in MI but never was there for such live demos. Your daughter looks like she loved every minute.
country's mama...those are over the moooooooooooooooon
