Several years around 2003, I had a very cheap version of Paint Shop Pro. I attempted to merge the bug with the Ox eye daisy and this was the result. CC welcome, and you can be as tough as you want, because I dont care, I like it :D

Robbie, if you mean that the bug and the flower are different photos and you layered one atop the other, you did very well. The only place I see where it is slightly weak is on the bugs antenna. But that, was after looking at it critically, per your request. Otherwise, I probably would not have noticed it. Good job, and fun to do, isn't it?

Well, I'm no "tough"-- but what I notice is a lot of blue fringing around the petals, particularly up toward the left corner. I'd be interested in how it would look with contemporary software-- heck, I didn't get my first digital camera until 2005. It was a 2 megapixel Canon P&S

Thanks for looking. I am a make do and mend sort of person must be something to do with being born in 1947 :-) if I can find a cheaper way of doing something I will, hence my water droplets photos. I also like the challenges involved. I know I used free software and I think I just cut and pasted the bug on top of the Ox-eye daisy,.thanks again
