In Rome it is tradition that the Crib Scenes stay out on display until the Presentation of the Lord on 2 February
In following these footsteps and in hounour of Saint Frances's first Crib in 1293 (with live animals in a cave) our church held atwo day display of cribs
these came from parisherners and the cribs originated from all over the world - home made to Bethelhem - 44 were displayed.
Over 150 people came to view them and for a first time display this was deemed as a great success.
Here are just three of the cribs on display

A wonderful tradition. I am sure that those who created their creche felt joy in doing so as well as those who attended. Good that you documented their efforts that honor our Lord.
