Some of your questions indicate laziness; you want answers without the work. Go to a library or a Barnes & Noble and start reading about photography. I taught myself 69 years ago and now teach others.

This interesting Web site helps you learn the operational aspects of a DSLR without a camera:

The SLR Camera Simulator: http://camerasim.com/camera-simulator.html

This Web site will explain ISO, aperture, and shutter speed, and their relation to one another:

Since this thread is a waste of time and space I'll add to the waste. I think the formula is the square root of IR x the square root of IL divided by the square root of IR + the square root of IL.

I think you transposed the initials of Rhode Island, but you did get Illinois correct.

How much does the addition of a +2 diopter add to the focal length of a 100 MM lens?

But if I use a UV filter, and shoot in JPEG, then there's 25.4000000000000000000001. Please critique my cat.

I think our cats are related

Can anyone come up with an accurate formula as to when this thread will end? The result of all my algebraic ( is that a word?) equations always comes up as infinite. If that’s the case, we’re all doomed to continue reading and replying until we die and after.
