I'm Learning...
Early practice when I first got my camera...all I think about is taking my next picture and learning about photography!
Very good. Just keep on shooting and take your camera everywhere you go.
Sounds like you have the Photovirus! Keep looking for things that interest you and keep shooting! I am not good at people portraits but there are several on here who are masters and do incredible work. listen to what they say. Your model is very photogenic.
Thanks Craig B...I try to keep it with me all the time...
Thanks Carly Sue...I hope to get some feedback...I will let my neice now know that you said that :)
Like you am new. But you look like you know exactly what you are doing!
"I'm Learning" thought I'd use your title because that's what I'm doing also when I look at your photos. You have such great eye and wonderful imagination. You will do very well at photography. Have fun and enjoy the endless world of taking pictures.
George McCann...I am always practicing, reading and looking at others people work...If you have an Iphone there is an app called Photography Assignment Generator that give you daily practice activities, it gives you the setting on the camera...there is a free and one you have to pay for...its a great app...I dont get to do them but on the weekend because work during the week but you should try the app I really like it...

Good eye. Lovely young lady. Your on your way to a lot of fun!! This a great place to learn.
You have a lot of talent so you're already ahead of the game. Wish I had half as much skill. I really like your stuff. But I'll keep clicking the shutter and go where it takes me. I may never be "good", but I can always get "better". That's not such a bad thing. Keep it up! :)
Nice captures. A few things to keep in mind. The portrait of the sweet little girl... the sun is very harsh... and she's a little too close to the shrubs. If at all possible... look for open shade... in other words... put the subject in shade whereby when you look up, you can see the sky. It will give you enough light for the portrait, while calming the harshness of the sun. On shot #2... for something with strong leading lines, like the highway, make sure your camera is dead level and the lines are either dead center of off to one side or the other... a purposeful tilt can be effective... but this one looks accidental. Also, try to black and white this shot, should be more effective. Anyone who would even think to take the picture of the highway has a good photographic imagination, a few little tweaks and you'll be fabulous! And Keep Shooting!!
