Be sure to watch where she waves to a passerby while hooked up.
Wonder what the Japanese did without this all those years?

And for those not so athletic as to hike: http://www.bumperdumper.com/bumper2.htm
And imagine this one parked on the side of a freeway?

Has to be the greatest product name ever created. I'd buy one just to be able to say the name of the thing!!!!

thanks for sharing--I needed some humor for the day rather than think about the snow on its way.

A couple of true stories that fit right in:

On one of the times I was on top of Half dome in Yosemite NP, a very pretty redneck blonde comes up to me and says, "Hi, y'all. Y'all tell me where the restroom is?"
I told her it was behind the Burger King on the opposite end of the dome.
As I was climbing down the cables, I saw her and she was not too happy with me.

I did lots of extended backpacking and when I would go to REI or A-16 for supplies, I would ask new clerks for "dehydrated water."
I told them it came in pouches just like dehydrated food and I would pour in the contents of the pouch into a canteen and add water and I would have water.
So many bought it and one even promised to see if her manager could special order it for me.
Oh, she was a blonde.

I would also ask for inflatable tent poles.
If you have ever gone on a long pack trip, you will have probably have cursed the weight of your tent poles, so these could make sense.

So much for remembering the good old days.

When I worked in a kitchen I sent the new guy to look for the sweet and sour separater. When he couldn't find that, I told him to bring me a bucket of steam. And when I worked as a electronic tech, we were using flux, resistors, capacitors; so I sent a guy to get a flux capacitor! When he came back he said he couldn't find one, I told him he had to go back to the future to get it, its what makesmtime travel possible! Lol

I saw a product much like the bumper dumper in a catalog but it didn't have a lid. Two warnings on the product- "Not for use when vehicle is in motion" and "slippery when wet". for the second one maybe you need a Strap and Crap to tie you to the truck!

I am wondering if the bumper dumper could be an extra seat for the mother-in-law if the SUV was full?
Of course, it would need seat belts to be street legal.

Makes you wonder about "evaporated milk". All the cans I've bought had something in them.
