I need critique on reflections please.
I'm still working on reflections and using the older ones to find out how to improve the new ones.
Got this underwater while snorkeling in Hawaii
Alaska, Yukon area
A bit bright - Maui
How do you keep your lens from fogging going from Hawaii to Alaska and back so quick?
if ur referring to reflections then, i think the second 1 u could cut off the distraction from the blurred action of the road and maybe look@ it horizontally.

Hi Frank, Are you talking about cutting off some of the waterfront? What about the 3rd picture? Would you consider that a reflection or a sunset? Oh, this was the actual picture I meant to put up in Alaska and I found this other one I didn't realize I did.

The first picture is from underwater shooting up at hard coral. It's like an upside down reflection. My husband has a more scientific way to say it but that's what it means to me. It's not that pretty but kind of a trial thing I got by accident. Thank you on the other 2. :)
yes , thats a lot better. i really like the alaska shot. maybe a little HDR. would help it some. nice shot

quote=frank bruce if ur referring to reflections ... (

The sun over the island is a reflection and is a different approach. Depending on the camera, closing the Aperature to limit the light and experimenting with some different filters will sharpen and clarify the subjects. I like what you are doing. Experimentation in photography is the name of the game is it not? Take a lot of photos of the same subject at different settings and see which ones turn out the best.

Thanks. I have so many sunsets/reflections and people tell me to use a polarize filter to cut the reflection, but I like the reflections. I think you're right about trying different filters because reflections, sunsets, rainbows, waterfalls and wildlife (some of which are in water and some taken through glass) are my favorites, but I have to find the buffer I need. I don't like (or know how very well) to do any heavy editing. I'm just starting to learn about my camera. I used my Canon d10 (underwater mostly) until I got this Canon Rebel t3i (won't use underwater).
Since I'm traveling more I needed to step it up a little. :-) Any suggestions always appreciated.
