i go all out when i am shooting photos.. you know you have to look your best at all times.
Getting down on the knees was not to bad, it was getting back up that caused the problem.
Had to crawl to the fence and pull self back up.

I think you should market your Deer Gear. It obviously works. Either that or your mulies have a much higher developed sense of humor than was previously suspected.

I think we have some reindeer antlers mounted on a plastic headband somewhere but I don't think they provide quite the camouflage as your bonnet.

I can always beg my son to give me back all of the antlers i had given to him. That way I can make my own head band with 3 or 4 on each side.
I know it will be heavy, so the photos will really be leaning. If you won't mind- neither will I..

As many of you know I love my Mulies and it was stated last night that I was shooting all wrong for the "Perfect" shot.

One is not suppose to shoot from above. It doesn't matter that your not outside or still in your Jammies or had just come out of the shower.. None of that matters. We all know that wild deer will wait patiently for you to get into position.

So the suggestion was made I should don Knee pads and get down eye level with the "Wild" Deer. Never one to shrink from a challenge, I'm game going to give this a try. Remember all the techniques the hoggers told me to use.

Never mind that I have set myself up as a moving Target. Glad it's not deer season, this could be dangerous, but anything to get the "perfect shot".

So early this morning - I went out to set up my position in wait of the

"perfect eye Level " shot.

Got the board set down and the blankie over the top, because I did not have any knee pads.

And I waited.

Its then that Princess got the notion that I looked like a willing target and decided to sink her claw in a tender spot from behind.

About that time, I yelped and load and behold I looked and I had forgotten the hay to stuff in my sleeves and pants cuffs. I did put my deer head gear on tho. When I finished rubbing my tender spot, I looked up and what did I see!

Well I will let you see for yourself..

Is that a perfect shot at eye level or is the horizon really tipped off to one side and maybe running off the edge of the page?

Graham, stated he had taken it for a spin to see if he wanted one as well. He thought the antler was a horn, but could not get it to blow. Don't tell him i had told you so, though.
We all know antlers are not for blowing but for stabbing the one in front of you, so you can make it to the head of the line for lunch.

Thank you...
I have to be careful, because i would not want the Hunters to catch wind of these specialized clothes I had sewn in my spare time.
I have to admit though, they need more padding in the back area so you won't meet the same fate like i had.
I'll let you know when its perfected.. Is that workable for you?
