As many of you know I love my Mulies and it was stated last night that I was shooting all wrong for the "Perfect" shot.
One is not suppose to shoot from above. It doesn't matter that your not outside or still in your Jammies or had just come out of the shower.. None of that matters. We all know that wild deer will wait patiently for you to get into position.
So the suggestion was made I should don Knee pads and get down eye level with the "Wild" Deer. Never one to shrink from a challenge, I'm game going to give this a try. Remember all the techniques the hoggers told me to use.
Never mind that I have set myself up as a moving Target. Glad it's not deer season, this could be dangerous, but anything to get the "perfect shot".
So early this morning - I went out to set up my position in wait of the
"perfect eye Level " shot.
Got the board set down and the blankie over the top, because I did not have any knee pads.
And I waited.
Its then that Princess got the notion that I looked like a willing target and decided to sink her claw in a tender spot from behind.
About that time, I yelped and load and behold I looked and I had forgotten the hay to stuff in my sleeves and pants cuffs. I did put my deer head gear on tho. When I finished rubbing my tender spot, I looked up and what did I see!
Well I will let you see for yourself..
Is that a perfect shot at eye level or is the horizon really tipped off to one side and maybe running off the edge of the page?
