Thanks Linda. Back story---- while out in the woods doing a Spring creeks and streams thing,my pal went to the zoo(she knows I want nothing to do with those critter prisons). While out there was contemplating what it must be like for the critters---embraced by nature and roaming free. Later in the week when downloading her pics I noticed that she had taken those about the same time I was doing mine. When I saw the look in his eyes and remembered how I felt in the wild I almost cried. She got some pretty heavy pics. Had been waiting to use that quote with a landscape pic but it felt pretty powerful right there.

Great shots. The gorilla shot is great - the look on his face and the austere surroundings bring such a somber feeling that it's almost overwhelming. This is the kind of shot I'd expect an animal rescue organization to publish in a handout or on a web site.
