To save space in my camera bag, I screwed together my 62mm polarizer and neutral density filters for storage. Now I cannot unscrew them. Any suggestions?

Welcome to UHH.
Place them flat on a rubberized mat, like a jar grip, then twist the one while pushing down on the other.
If this doesn't work you can buy a lens wrench, basically a rubber band with a handle, that will grip the filters.
- Remember that the CPL has two parts that spin free of one another.
There are other methods on Google too.

I have had this problem and I found that if you put a rubber band on each it will help you grip them without scratching them and loosen. good luck!

Any good camera store will sell you flat plastic wrenches that are made for that purpose. It is good to keep a pair in your camera bag to fit each of the various size filters you may have..

Dang and I buy using dollars. The link took me to a CO UK site. Not had a pound coin in my hand for a long time let alone the 5pence 10pence or the funny shaped 20pence pieces.

Unfortunately no, my filters are still locked together although I have tried several of the remedies suggested. Maybe a place like B & H can help next time I get to go there.
