well i think the 18-270 gave the best results and wanted someone else's opinion of the shots

That was some thick fog! #3 looks like has interesting possibilities with that fence in front. I would try to enhance contrast a bit and remove branches from top.

It is difficult to see exactly what you are after here, but I'd try doing something with #4. Up the contrast, straighten the horizon...otherwise, I don't think you have enough of a subject.

well actually the whole purpose was to see just what would show up thru the heavy fog ,just sorta like the ghostly fogs in the movies lol, haven't you ever wanted to try something just wondering what will turn out from it ??

have a similar fascination with fog. Shot these in monochrome and used the fog as a backdrop rather than the focal point.
the cabin iso 200 31mm f2.8 1/80sec
the falls iso400 33mm f2.8 1.3 seconds
the trees iso500 70mm f2.8 1/30 sec.

very nice photos there , sumthing bout the erieness of fog is fasinating
