I took this picture of Notre Dame cathedral a couple years ago. It was a very warm Sunday morning in July.
At the time I took the picture, I was impressed with the number of people standing in line waiting to get in. And while I certainly understand that most were there because it was a tourist attraction and not necessarily to worship or honor God, it still impressed me.
When I got home, I was disappointed in that the photo didn't really capture the relationship between the building, the people and God.
I tried various HDR and other techniques to re-capture what I thought I saw there, and this is it.
I like your results. Now your image is a piece of art, with its voice increased to a much more pleasing level.

Thank you. It always amazes me when less detail provides more information.
If capturing the relationship between the building, the people and God was what you were after then I think the work you did to the photo helped. Looks like an old postcard. I like it.
Agree with the others. Much more meaningful representation of the cathedral. Nice artwork without the constraints of time.
