Another "Old Red"

Not quite the elegant building as the one in TX.
This is Preston Castle - California's first "School of Industry for Young Men" / reform school. In Ione,CA 50 +/- mi east of Sacramento. It was in use into the '50s and then was abandoned for a long long time. There is a very active group trying to restore it but money is tight they have fund raiser one of which is a twice a year photographers day - these are some from my visit.
The good thing about the pros that were there - they did not hesitate to share their models with the obvious armatures.
