These are two images I took of the bridges and observatory that span the Penobscot Narrows. I would like some C&C regarding subject, composition, exposure and anything else you think I might benefit from. If you would like to edit, please have at it, but I ask that you give me fairly detailed description of what you have done--it helps me learn.
I also have a question about ND filters. If I had one and used it, would I have been able to get the dark stormy clouds and still be able to expose the structures properly?
Canon Xsi
Picture #1 18-55mm lens @18mm, f/16, 1/200 ISO 200
Picture #2 same lens @ 51mm, f/11, 1/125, ISO 100
I really like the first one! Try it in B & W! Or maybe an enhanced sepia for a dramatic effect! (I like "different" effects! LOL!)
It's a great shot! :O)

Thanks for the comments and the edits. I'm always a little timid about trying different effects or coloring. I do like it because it seems to high light the architecture of the bridge.
