thanks for all the replys.
to answer a few...
yes, photoshop can be frustrating....but the real way to do it is just to learn what you need to learn...the program is huge and it's easy to get sidetracked on tools you will never use. since this is a photography forum, i will only demonstrate what is important to photographers.
keep in mind that you will not be required to share your desktops...only if you feel you need to to demonstrate a tip, technique or problem. you will be more than welcome to just sit back and watch and enjoy the webinar if that's what you choose.
to answer a few, a webinar is basically a live demonstration of me showing my live desktop with live audio. most webinars are 1 way..you watch a presenter demonstrating a product or skills and if you want to ask a question...you type it. with mine, you can type it if you like, or you can ask live with a mic.
i have done hundreds of webinars and am a firm believer in keeping everything fun. i am an old guy (59) that never grew up. so i like humor.
i keep these webinars clean and respectable. that's my only rules...
also there is no such thing as a stupid question. the goal of these webinars are to answer questions and clarify what is needed clarified.
i notice that there are photoshop7 to cs5 versions being used. i will generalize the techniques so they can be used in all versions...and if there's a different method that is in CS5, i will demonstrate that also.
i also do use lightroom and love it, i would also be glad to do a lightroom webinar down the road.
i like to keep these webinars between 1 to 2 hours.
looks like wednesday evenings would work best for me for the next few weeks. i could start at 5pm or 6pm or 7pm central time....example 5pm central would be 6pm eastern and 3pm pacific.
any preferences on the time?
i also could do a sampler 20 minute webinar to make everyone comfortable with hooking up, say on monday evening. this would make you comfortable with hooking up on wednesday.
i have monday and wednesday evenings open through the week.
all my 3d webinars were on saturdays at 11am central time.
just trying to accommodate as many as i can.
i can have up to 100 attendees at these webinars. when i was doing it as a biz, i had a 1000 seat subscription...when i started doing them for free, i couldn't justify the cost.
i love to learn and i love to teach. that's my story.

I'm always up for expanding my learning curve! I use PS CS5 & I also have PSE 9. Do you ever do them for LightRoom? I would be interested in that too. I try to read the daily forums, but sometimes I miss one.
I see you're a yupper -- super place to be, our favorite vacation spot for the last 40 years!
yes, i am a yooper. my wife and i moved up here 22 years ago. last year we decided to make it our permanent home. we are both from the akron/canton area of ohio. most all our family is still in ohio.

YES! YES! YES! How do we sign up? When will it start? (Hopefully, not within the next few weeks as I will be out of the country for a week). I have CS4 and anxiously awaiting CS6. Thank you for your generous offer.

I'd be interested. I've been using Photoshop for years and years, and there's always SOMETHING new to learn, or a different way to achieve the same result.
