I am not a pro nor even a pro wannabe but just an photography loving 80 some year old just hoping that someone may enjoy some of my images as much as I do. Love to dabble with grahic software also.
No critiques wanted and probably none given unless asked.
Hail (now) from Oregon and am a ex-Michigander. Retired from the Military in 1974 after 24 years of service then retired again in 1996 from the automobile industry.
Have fun traveling in our mobile home and taking fotos while sight seeing.
Did a five month trip starting in Oregon and following the coast line to CA, across to FLA north to ME then across the northern states back to Oregon. Will be starting on a 6 weeker (Apr 15) but doing the central US this time
Awesome capture!!
If you travel through Iowa, I would suggest you consider the area West of DesMoines (the state capital). Approx 40 miles west of DesMoines is the "Iowa Freedom Rock" that is an annual tribute to service personnel, vets, etc. Google "Iowa Freedom Rock" for more info. Also in that area is Madison County, the setting for Clint Eastwood's film "Bridges of Madison County" and those awesome covered bridges. Also in Madison County is the boyhood home of "John Wayne", the "Bob Feller" home place, etc. A lot of history there!
That's the only way to travel, thanks for your service and have fun traveling!

I believe the above was with my Nikon D70 - now use a Canon T1i and a Canon T4i. I use a Pentax Optio RX 18 16 megapixels (point and shoot) it shoots and processes panoramas internally and a Nikon Coolpix 12 Megapixels (point and shoot)
Welcome Klaesser and Thank you for your service! Great Photo!
