I teach adobe products as well as some cad and 3d programs. i see a ton of questions and confusion on using photoshop. i would be willing to do one or 2 free webinars on photoshop.

i do webinars differently..i make them interactive and we can share desktops.

if you are interested....list topics or techniques you would like to have me present. i see tons of questions on automating with actions, color correction, removing backgrounds, matching color, etc...

i am on central time (same as Chicago) and can do these on a weekday evening or on a saturday.

we could do one on some basic stuff and devote another to advanced.

i can have up to 100 attendees.

you can come and be interactive or just sit back and take it all in. i would also record these and make them available.

i have been foing webinars for 5 years and i make them fun.

if you are interested in this...let me know!! you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!

Geez! Ask and ye shall receive? I have been looking at Photoshop Elements 10 for 2 days trying to decide if I should get it or Premiere and how would I learn to use it. I purchase and do a download on 10 if you're starting right away but should I look for 9 instead or should I get 10 or 10 Premiere? I'm quite savvy with Picasa, Irfanview, Piknik but want to get more pro effects and more control. Any thoughts/advice and yes count me in!

I would but doubt if I have the speed or data allowance to do it. Never been involved with one before so don't really know what it all entails.

Randy...we had 50 degrees today...probably last day of our indian summer. 10 inches of snow last weekend....the big snow is coming.

let me explain the webinars...i have a gotomeeting subscription. i would set the date and post the link to register. registering would be name and email only. at the time of the webinar..you would follow that link to join. if you have a headset mic, you can join in on discussions. if you just want to watch and listen, that's ok also.

what i would like to get from you folks are questions and techniques wanted and i would prepare the webinar around those questions.

let me take a look at elements..my wife uses it and i have never even seen it. my expertise is photoshop. one thing for sure, if there are other attendees that can answer or demonstrate the techniques in elements, that would be great.

to start off you woulod join the webinar and see my live screen. i can change presenter to anybody elses screen if they have something to add or to answer questions. i can turn on up to 25 mics at a time. you can also "raise your hand" and i can make your mic hot..or if you do not have a mic..you can type your question.

these types of webinars are a ton of fun and it's also a great way to meet and listen to other foirum members.

i would record the session and then post a link for anybody to download it for future reference.

macs or pcs...anyone can log in. you do need a high speed internet connection. most people have a high speed connection these days.

so please post your questions or topics you would like to see me demonstrate. we will make the first one "back to basics" and later schedule and "advanced" one.

i will take a look at elements, based on your questions and try to cover elements as well as photoshop.

keep the questions and requested topics coming and i will put this together.

and thanks for the reqests of masks...that's the biggie always in requested topics...and it is definitely one that everyone should be familiar with.

jim

Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are on sale for less than 1/2 prices as a combo only until Nov 29, 2011. I just ordered it today from Amazon for $70, no tax, no shipping. I doubt it will ever get cheaper. This combo pack is cheaper than individual purchase and was released in September 2011 so it will not go out of date for a while.

I'm in Chicago, almost 60 degrees today, from here it is downhill.

I am no PS expert, and I now work with one hand (bad arthritis), but do dabble and prefer to use current software.

Been using CS2 for years and just got CS5. Looks different.

I know mostly, importing, adjusting, layers, actions, batch.

I have a Masters in Internet Education that is 10 years old, but never taught.

I am familiar with Blackboard and sharing desktops.

I am here and very interested.

btw, I love the UP, been there many times.

webinars ---- I dont have adobe products and dont know what webinars are, so I would only be able to watch.. I would not know enough to participate...and dont want to make a fool of myself by trying something I'm unfamiliar with..
