Congratulations, Carolyn. Your photo is beautiful and deserves to be published. Super job! You can be very proud of your work. And, what a beautiful horse!

As for the watermark, I understand it completely and was wondering what kind of reaction it would get. Last summer I posted two photos that I was proud of, with huge watermarks across the center, and got blasted, too. So I don't post anymore.

Again, congratulations.

Watermark looks just fine. I have no problem appreciating the photo behind it.

Phyllis, PLEASE do not let what others say and do RUN your life. I would love to see your work, watermarked or not! I'm sure there are others here that feel the same way I do.

Phyllis, it is very sad that you have chosen not to share your work. It is so important to keep in mind that we all learn on this forum. Even those of us who are thick-headed blithering idiots, if constantly challenged, do absorb once in a while. So please reconsider. For all of us. And remember, "Don't shot until you can see the whites of their eyes!"

Again, congratulations.

I concur. Don't let a few negative comments spoil it for any of you. Why deprive the rest of us for what we didn't do? Also keep in mind....the comments about the watermark probably were not intended to hurt you, though I totally understand that they might have smarted a bit! Some people have a better way with words than others, just as some people have better way with a camera than others.

I am sorry you do not like the excessive water mark, but if you have ever had a photo stolen, as I have I think you would understand.

Hmm, poor thing, did you also give up men the first time a little boy jilted you. It must be agonizing to have to walk backwards all the time. And then ... hmmm, worry about whats in front of you?

I agree with you Croce, why ruin a good shot to save it. If that worried best put it in a box and hide it under the bed.
