Where is Charbonneau Park along the Snake River east of Ice Harbor Dam? What state are you in? I wish everyone would tell us what state they're shooting in.

Washington State on the Snake River about 20 miles from where it empties into the Columbia River.

Nice shot, but a little out of focus. When your subject is stationary like this bird, maybe you should try Manual Focus at set your meter to Spot focus.
I also agree with Frank, this picture could use some serious cropping. Sorry to be so critical as it is a nice shot.

Very sure, I was on an outing with the local Audubon Society group and the local bird expert named it at once. I looked it up and found it in my own bird book..

I had already cropped it and didn't want to lose the clarity I had. I will post the original later. It is actually about 6 to 8 inches taller then bald eagles. There were two eagles in the same tree and it was taller. I thought it was a juvenile golden eagle since it was bigger then the bald eagles. I later found out what it was from the local bird expert.
