Tell me what you think, I am here to learn, i seen a couple photos looked really good, i'm thinking there's nothing they need, an someone said do this, and adjust that or crop this, i am thinking no way an they took you advise an wow
it made a difference, so i am taking notes, thank you
Lovely sunflower, bright and sharp. I am not a fan of the unsaturated photo. It is hard to get a bee that is not hidden in the flower .or covered with pollen so his features are hidden.
These are just great. I especially like the last one where the bee is gathering nectar. The detail in the image is stunning.
Bokeh on sunflower is excellent! Others noy so good.
looks like you are ok with others uploadind to your thread. here is mine taken on a bright sunny day. look at all that pollen on the leg. I did not even see it until it was on my computer screen. You might consider multiple shots at different angles..side view and from above. Even if you have to follow it from flower to flower.
I did not mean to intrude , I took from the title you wanted pics of bees and flowers, but on rereading that may not have been true. We do need a check box to indicate if a subject is open for others to join. I see everyone shaking in their boots, unsure what to do here.
I would like to see some more of your work with a little more composition than the bee on the thistle. It is sort of bulls eye and nowhere else to go after that in the photo. You may not have any other choice on that one. Do you have others?
I just got reamed by someone on another thread for adding one of my pictures in my comments. Since I see everyone doing it here, I will, too.
First, though, I love your bee and thistle picture. The only thing I would do is crop it real tight so that it takes up the whole picture frame.

This is an example of the bees I caputered this past summer
Fuzzy flower and buzzy thing

This one is wonderful, I love the color too. Great job on the focus!
This is my best bee picture so far, and I'm not to happpy with it.
Here are a couple of bee pictures from this summer.
