I am still checking out some of the features of my new Sony Alpha 500. I have only had it for a few days. None of my subjects were all that willing. The noise reduction in this unit is simply fantastic. I did no photoshopping other than to crop the chipmunk a little after I zoomed him in a little.
Oops. I lied. The grandson has all sorts of bug bites on him so I used the spot healing tool to take them out.
I don't know if this matters or not, but the chipmunk photo was shot through a double pane window.
The Grandson f 5.6 @ 125/sec. ISO 100
I could have repaired his wing in photoshop f 5.6 @250/sec. ISO 100
Wow! No noise. f 4.5 @ 4000/sec. ISO 1600
Nice snaps - #1 and 3 you may want to think about a lower perspective, closer to eye level. I'ld watch it - Superman don't look happy.
These were just quick test shots. Nothing I could do about the chipmunk. I was standing in my kitchen looking out and down at it. I was about 8 feet away. I know he would not sit still until I got outside and asked him to pose.
Yeah, I would keep an eye on Superman!!! All wonderful shots. If I had not went with Olympus, Sony was the camera for me. Very good photos.
Love the photographs. Excellent job
