My wife and I want to make this trip, but on a trike. She doesn't feel safe on a two-wheeler, but wants us to consider a trike... and a trip down Route 66. THANKS for sharing your photos.

Nice shots! My wife and I have done the trip from West Coast to East Coast and back twice on my Electra-Glide. Loved EVERY minute and looking forward to doing it again some day. Looks like you did/are too.

All great pics. The Winslow Arizona pic got me singing. I have a trucker/musician buddy that phoned home from Winslow and sang Standing on the corner to his wife. 20 years later we still laugh.

I do a East /West every year and a North/South. In 2012 I went the 4 corners region. I stayed in Cortez CO and rode the Million Dollar Hiway also Monument Valley, Arches National Park and Mesa Verde

Charlie, Do you know why a motor cycle needs a kick stand so that it won't tip over?..........It's too (2) tired. Ha Ha

In the 70s I drove a tractor/trailer and would go thru Winslow regularly. A lot of 66 was still two lane road and you would drive by this corner. I remember singing along with the Eagles when I went into Winslow.
