Make sure your caps lock is turned off, and you can increase/decrease the brush size using the bracket keys [ ]

PM means private message. Jim both of your pics are very nicely done. I love the vignette effect on the edges. I am thinking maybe I would try to lighten the faces a little on the first pic and maybe the second needs a small color corection on the boys face. I am Chas BTW. Would be great to have you as a friend.

Was shot on auto white balance. I think flash would have been better...that's how we learn.

Here is my little boost to the lighting around the subjects faces. I was told in another topic not to post or edit anyone's photo without permission. so here it is. Let me know what you think.

Thank you for respecting my privacy. I did't think about that. I do like the lightening of the face...

Again thanks to a new friend

I don't mean to intrude on your conversation, gentlemen, but Jim, those portraits are beautiful! So much emotion captured. Well done.

Jeanne, dear, this is a public forum and you seem to be a member in good standing, so you have every right to post a comment. And, of course, you are very right! The portraits are very nice, and do show a lot of emotion and character. Normally, I prefer high key portraits, especially for photos with babies & children. But, with these subjects, the low key really works nicely.

Chas. Your PP appears very subtle, but nice. Best regards, Jack
