The point is the media neglects to let the real story be told. Thats all they ever publicize and overlook stories like the one I posted. Nothing is perfect and you "civilized" morons just dont get it. The guns are never going away, there are far to many and the criminals will never give them up. The guns are NOT the issue. Its the nut cases intent on doing harm to others that are the issue. We as
a society have to find out how to address that situation.

There is a lot of news that doesn't make the news because it doesn't fit with their agenda.

I doubt that it has to do with anybody's "agenda" so much as the fact that a minor shooting incident with no fatalities in a large US city just ain't much news.
My contention is that if the principal at Sandy Hook had been armed, most of us would never have heard of that, either, since only one or two people would have been shot (the gunman and/or the principal). I'm pretty sure that the 26 school children dead is the "big story" there, don't you think? Tales of shooting incidents are a bit commonplace, I'm afraid.

Whose adgenda .... do you really think there is some vast conspiercy to slant the news to against everything you believe in .... there are both right and left leaning media in this country ... if neither support what you beleive in .... maybe it you that marches to a unique drummer ... which would mean that it is you who are WAY out in left or right field ...... and you represent a fringe group that defies common beliefs ...

Media Quiet About San Antonio Theater Shooting

On Sunday December 17, 2012, 2 days after the CT shooting, a man went to a restaurant in San Antonio to kill his X-girlfriend. After he shot her, most of the people in the restaurant fled next door to a theater. The gunman followed them and entered the theater so he could shoot more people. He started shooting and people in the theater started running and screaming. It’s like the Aurora, CO theater story plus a restaurant!

Now aren’t you wondering why this isn’t a lead story in the national media along with the school shooting?

There was an off duty county deputy at the theater. SHE pulled out her gun and shot the man 4 times before he had a chance to kill anyone. So since this story makes the point that the best thing to stop a bad person with a gun is a good person with a gun, the media is treating it like it never happened.

Only the local media covered it. The city is giving her a medal next week. Just thought you’d like to know.

"Agenda revealed! If you had any doubts that the media was pushing for this and who their masters were, doubt no longer. This is spooky. Alot of what you read in the ‘conspiracy world’ is bull but there IS alot of truth too.. You just have to sort out the facts yourself. -Mort"
This is the stuff our wonderful media just happens... (show quote)

What about the story in New York .... neighbor bought a Bushmaster for her neighbor ... convicted felon .... he then set fire to his house ... then killed 2 firemen when they responded to the fire .... so much for background checks .... tell the firemens family about the NRA method of insuring that guns do not fall into the hands of dangerous people .... you would argue then that background checks don't work ..... so .... why don't we all carry guns .... lets return to the 19th century ....

Hey Doc ..... BTW the neighbors daughter that purchased the guns for the perp has been arrested by the ATF .....

Why would it matter ..... the framers of our Republic were intellictually influenced by foreigners .... intellect and the ability to reason are universal qualities ..... we should never discount an objective analysis of a problem ... reguardless of the source

You are correct - the framers of our Republic were intellectually influenced by foreigners. And the result of that influence included not only our Constitution, but the Bill of Rights. Our Bill of Rights is unique in that it is a protection for the individual against an oppressive government.

If a person not protected by our Constitution wants to argue that we should have NO Bill of Rights, we can show him examples in other countries and through history how that ends up.

If, however, they want to pick our Bill of Rights apart while upholding parts of it and abrogating other parts, they do not understand us, our Constitution or our Bill of Rights. If they want to read through our Constitution, and preferably the Federalist Papers as well, I would enjoy discussing who we are and why we are that way with them.

If they don't, the best we can do is ask them to tend to their own affairs and not bother us with their misconceptions.
