Very pretty scenes. Is it South of Raton?
Dennis
Gal thanks for posting these beautiful photos. It reminds me of similar scenes where I grew up in the late 50's and early 60's before all the land grabbers turned the open rangeland into houses, shopping centers and car lots.
I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA. It WAS beautiful. Now it is urban sprawl. One only has to watch all the early TV westerns and you will see Thousand Oaks in its prime. All the cattle used in shows like Rawhide, Bonanza, Virginian, Gunsmoke, and big block western movies belonged to my Uncle. The ranch he ran was tens of thousands of acres and has been converted to some of the most expensive urban real estate in Southern California. UGH!
I long to live in places that look like what you just posted. I would feel like I had gone home.
Thanks again.
Jim
Jim, I hear you. New Mexico is not all that far away from California if you are able to travel.
Beautiful set, Barbara. #1 is my fav.
